Monster is the word, Sunday’s Rotary Mission Beach Monster Market was the ‘biggest ever’!

There was real festival feel to this month’s market as locals and tourists strolled and shopped the many market stalls.   School holidays and fantastic weather added to the day to make this the biggest Rotary Mission Beach Monster Market ever.

Children enjoyed the Jumping Castle as always and there were a wide variety of new stalls amongst popular regulars like Luke the ‘Coconut Man’.

Barry & Jenny of Balgal Beach topped their day off by winning the Seafood Raffle.

‘Car Boot Sales’ was this months market theme.  Where your car boot is your stall for your unwanted treasure.  Previous themes have included Classic Cars, Motorbikes, and Boats.

“Rotary Club of Mission Beach run this (the Monster Markets) for the community so it is fantastic to see so many people enjoying the day from near and far.  It’s fantastic, hope to see you all again next month”, says Chris May, President Rotary Club of Mission Beach.

Next Mission Beach Monster Market is at Marc’s Park on Sunday 28 October 2012.
